First explored in Japan by Sensei Mikao Usui, Reiki can be directly translated as ‘Universal Life Force Energy.’ With “Rei” meaning life force or spiritual consciousness and “Kei” meaning vitality or energy, Reiki is an energetically healing modality that supports the highest holistic wellbeing of the mind, body, heart, and spirit.

What to expect…
Root
Surrounded by the healing frequency of roses, each one-on-one session will begin with an initial consultation around rooting into any intentions arising for the healing. Once acknowledged, the healing will open with a guided meditation, honoring the energetic channel within and between.
Blossom
While resting, the healing will then flow through the body, blossoming at each energetic center, giving room for all thought forms, feelings, or sensations to be held in grace as they are invited to be seen, heard, and felt. The gentle energy serves to soothe, and settle the body, as Reiki is a deeply calming modality that has the capacity to support with physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing.

Grow
The session will conclude with an exaltation of growth, offering a nourishing and deeply connecting opportunity to debrief, by speaking into anything that came through, only if desired. Following the session, personalized and intentionally written notes that encompass themes and offer further considerations will also be shared.

Blossom
While all present are resting, the healing will then flow through the group, moving through the body, blossoming at each energetic center, giving room for all thought forms, feelings, or sensations to be held in grace as they are invited to be seen, heard, and felt. The gentle energy serves to soothe, and settle the body, as Reiki is a deeply calming modality that has the capacity to support with physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing.

Over the course of six sessions, when selecting Root, Blossom, Grow, those who desire to deeply move into healing and discover their Divine potential will be supported through Reiki to rise into their fullest wellbeing and self-expression. If growth is the goal, this offering provides the sustainable rooting to mindfully blossom and expand. Each session will follow the below flow:

Each healing one-on-one session for children and teens will begin with an initial chat and playful exploration that roots into what energy means and looks like to them. Once shared, the healing will open with a brief artistic and movement based mindfulness practice.
Blossom
Then, through Reiki-infused art-making, children and teens will be guided to get curious about each energetic center, by crafting their own journal that illustrates how the energy is flowing through each center and how it is feeling called to be creatively expressed. Empowering and enlightening, through connecting conversation and play, children and teens are inspired to investigate their own inner wisdom and potential through art, while learning skills to energetically support themselves physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

Grow
Each children and teen healing will conclude with a celebration of their growth, by reviewing all that was expressed in their journal throughout the session, especially the activities that correspond to each energetic center that came through as beneficial for further and more expansive support. Children and teens, during in-person healings, can then chose a sticker as a symbol to remind them of what they discovered.

Over the course of six weeks, participants in Finding the Magic will be empowered to explore their own connection to spirit or something greater than themselves through intentional play, lots of creative expression, and time in nature, inviting them to recognize how to make real magic within themselves and in community.
